Description

This simple sewing pattern has been designed for confident beginners to sew a set of Bible characters for use in storytelling. The pattern uses a simple ‘pillow-style’ doll, embellished with a selection of accessories to personalise each character. You can even create your own extra details to personalise your dolls! Using the pattern as printed, dolls will be 21cm tall, but you can resize the dolls as you require.

What’s Needed

• Felt in a variety of colours (wool felt gives a better finish; it doesn’t bobble so easily and is available in a wider range of colours. Acrylic felt can also be used, but it may not stand up to heavy use)
• Embroidery thread for small details (such as the mouth)
• Toy stuffing
• Sewing machine
• Scissors
• Needle and thread
• Pattern pieces (attached)
